CAROLYN
Next to Dr. Norwalk, she is the senior member of the team. Originally from Cincinnati, she has been practicing dental hygiene since
1975. (You'd think by now she wouldn't need to practice; she should know how to do it) hope you chuckled with us. She truly is a consummate professional and is a great part of the preventive arm of the practice. A graduate from Raymond Walters School of Dental Hygiene - Cincinnati OH. She is married and has a lovely daughter. She loves the outdoors and at one time she was a competitive swimmer for the Coca Cola Team in Cincinnati.
ELAINE
This young lady, our scheduling co-ordinator, has been with us since
1991 and comes to us from a Banking background with 26 years of experience. You'll be greeted by a cheery voice from this smiling individual and she'll do her very best to accommodate your schedule when setting up an appointment. She enjoys the outdoors and is a fantastic cook.
DAWN
This great young lady is a graduate of Owens Community College School of Dental Hygiene and is also certified as EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary). This certification allows her to place restorations (fillings) in front and back teeth after the doctor has removed the decay. She has been with us since
2007 and is a "stickler" for having things just right. She is married and has two little ones - a boy and a girl. She is an avid bowler and a "fanatic" when it comes to the Detroit Red Wings Hockey Team. She is a Toledo native.
ASHLEY
This gal is a corker and she acts as Dr. Norwalk's gal Friday (Dental Assistant). She is a
2008 graduate of Penta Career Institute in Dental Assisting, a Genoa area native and is very sports orientated. She played Varsity basketball on the 2008 League Championship team and she loves hanging out with her friends. She has a great personality and will help make you feel right at home in the dental chair.
RACHEL
She is the new "kid" on the block with our Team. Rachel is also a
2008 Owens Community College Department of Dental Hygiene Graduate and is also certified as an E.F.D.A. as well as being certified to administer local anesthesia. She has integrated her bubbly personality right in with the rest of the crew and fits in to a T. She likes to travel, is also a great cook and loves to read. She also is a University of Toledo Graduate with a degree in business.
INGRID
This talented and knowledgeable individual is part of what make us go. She is our dental practice consultant and comes to us with a great deal of business "sense." She is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester Michigan with a degree in Human Resources and minor in computers. Early in her career she was a General Manager for T.G.I. Friday's and in
1985 began her dental career as an Operational Manager of a large dental practice and in
2000 moved into the dental retail sales business. This diversified experience of software, hardware sales, training and building new dental offices added to her resume of contributions to other dental offices. She presently is acting president of her own firm, St. Catherine Consulting.
She acts as the "breeze from behind to push us forward and helps "cement" the various arms of the practice into one cohesive unit.
